Mural Progress

After catching up on the sleep I lost finishing Kayla's dance card, I was able to commit most of my Saturday to painting the American History Mural that I mentioned previously.

My dad was also around to take some pictures of my progress and give a sense of scale to this project.

  1. Greetings! I saw you at my blog and surfed over for a look. Great stuff!

I don't know where you find your images, but there's a lot of gold here! (I've never seen that Frazetta image before, and I thought myself a fan.)

I'll put you in my links, and look frwd to seeing the mural finished!

  2. Hey Craig, Thanks I always appreciate new viewers and publicity.

A lot of people ask me were I get my images. The honest truth is, I don't know. Most of these pictures have been in my files for years from hundreds of different sources, and these inspiration illustration posts are just my way of cleaning house. If you'd like, check through my blog list, most of them have been a resource at one time or another. Also check out my tumblr feed, I post these inspirational illustrations more frequently there:

I appreciate the encouragement, its slowly starting to come together. The sheer amount of layers of paint it needs is my biggest obstacle at present.
